Myth --> Feminism
So I've been talking Sean's ear off lately about feminists, or rather, more like whining, at least sometimes. I figured I may as well write down my thoughts. This semester I've been taking a Myth and Symbolism class, just for fun. I've really enjoyed it for the most part. It's refreshing to have a discussion class and especially to be in a class in which there is no wrong answer. Especially since my professor really seems to be the kind that will let you believe what you want, instead of just saying that and then secretly trying to convert you to their point of view. And I really enjoyed stretching my brain and thinking about things in new lights, being able to see where people were coming from while still disagreeing with them. It was kind of cool to be able to analyze a myth with Freudianism, even though I still think the guy needed serious mental help himself and I don't agree with a lot of what he said. At least I can see where Freudianists are coming from and how they think a little.
